The inclusion of bunyips is inspired btw, drawing on hitherto unused bits of myth and folklore is one thing that sets good Fantasy writing apart from the Dragons & Dwarves stuff imo.

"May God turn in his grave!" - very Nietzchian in one sense, in another I just really like the idea of people believing in a dead god.

Loads and loads of detail here: once again I wish worldbuilding came as easily to me as it obviously does to you.
